YSAC Scones

serves 8 huge scones
  1. Preheat the oven to 205 °C
  2. Wangjangle the dry ingredients together
  3. Chop up most of a stick of butter into little bits
  4. Mix them in and go chunk hunting
  5. Add in the blueberries and some exterior lemon skin scrapings (I like a tablespoon ish)
  6. Make a little volcano cavity chamber impression
  7. Pour in one cup of cream...if you want your scones to be more cakey use half a cup of cream and 2 eggs. They'll also be more yellow.
  8. Barely mix the dough, don't overwerk it
  9. Put the dough on a floured surface and form it into some kind of rectangular shape
  10. Cut it in half. Then in half. Then in half. Then in half.
  11. Separate the pieces on a parchment papered pan. They are going to expand, just like the universe. Checkmate atheists.
  12. Bake them for around 20-24 minutes on 205 °C
